When you place an order, purchase a product, or get a repair service from Appcessories Electronics, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms of sales and services.
Services: Appcessories Electronics will attempt to diagnose your device, provide an estimate of applicable service fees (plus applicable taxes), and then provide you with a technology solution in-store or through our mail-in repair service.
Responsibility: You understand and agree that prior to contacting or allowing Appcessories Electronics to perform diagnostic repair or other services on your computer, phone, gaming system, or other electronic device, it is your responsibility to back up the data, software, information, or other files stored on your computer disks and/or drives or phone cards. You acknowledge and agree that Appcessories Electronics shall not be responsible under any circumstance for any loss or corruption of data and/or software.
Warranty: Warranty on the repair is valid for six months from the date of repair. The Warranty is in effect for all issues that are related to the repair. The warranty does not cover cracked glass, broken LCD, cracked LCD, pressure dots/lines/marks or any signs of physical damage. It also does not cover if you were to try to push the glass back into the device and broke the glass/LCD. Once you damage/crack your screen, the warranty is null and void. *Please Note: Warranty is excluded for ALL labor-only repairs, ANY repair where the customer was told before the repair of no warranty or on ALL screen replacements for Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 2. Warranty is also void if the device has been opened or serviced by anyone other than an Appcessories Electronics technician or if the device has or had water damage before or after the repair.
Warranty Disclaimer: The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that any defects or errors will be corrected. Appcessories Electronics warrants that it has good title to the hardware products it sells and that it has proper authority to license the software products it distributes.
Returns, Refunds or Exchanges: No returns. No refunds. No exchanges. All sales are final.
Proof of Purchase: Please keep your receipt. For any and all issues with your device, you need your receipt or some type of proof of purchase, whether it be C.C. statement or Bank transaction to Appcessories Electronics. If you do not have proof of purchase, we cannot and will not provide warranty work for your device.
Deposits: If you put a deposit on a part from us, we will make every attempt to have that part arrive on time and inform you of the part’s arrival as quickly as possible. If we are unable to reach you via the email address and/or phone number that you provided to us, after two attempts and your part remains in our facility for more than 30 days, your part will no longer be reserved for you and may be used in another repair. There are no refunds for deposits made.
Overnight: Appcessories Electronics does not assume any responsibility for any device left overnight at our kiosk, unless expressed by us to do so. If you leave your device at an Appcessories Electronics kiosk overnight, you do so at your own risk. Appcessories Electronics will not assume any responsibility for any device that is damaged, lost, or stolen.
Repairs and Replacements: If a device is accidentally damaged during your repair due to our own fault, Appcessories Electronics will fix the problem within 3 days. If Appcessories Electronics replaces a device for any reason due to our own fault, it will be a device in similar condition to the device you brought in. If you so choose not to wait for your repair to be fully finished or completed in the time span given to you, we release all responsibility and liability of your device.
Device Abandonment: If you send your device to us, we will make every attempt to complete the services requested and return it back to you as quickly as possible. There may be times when we will need your authorization to move your device to the next stage in the repair process. If we are unable to reach you via the email address and/or phone number that you provided to us, after two attempts and your device remains in our facility for more than 45 days, your device will be disposed of. We will not be held responsible for any devices or the data on those devices that have been abandoned by the customer.
Water-Damaged Devices: We have found that water-damaged devices can be a challenge both for us and our customers. The term “water damage” includes but is not limited to water, soda, alcohol, sweat, and humidity. Oftentimes, a simple repair such as a battery or new screen will appear to resolve the issue for a short period of time, but later, another issue related to the initial water damage (and completely unrelated to the parts we installed and/or the labor we performed) will surface. We believe that water-damaged devices have about a fifty-fifty chance of being repaired successfully for the long term, so please keep this in mind when approving repairs on water-damaged devices. Due to the nature of this kind of trauma, devices that we evaluate that are found to have water damage may be returned to you with the same or possibly much less functionality than when first received. Please note: There is no warranty for water-damaged devices.
Unlock, Jailbroken and Hacked Devices: Due to the complex and unpredictable nature of iPods, iPhones, and iPads that have their software/hardware modified in any way from their original intent, we cannot offer any guarantee on our parts and/or labor on these devices. While we are fairly certain that our parts will work with a device that has had its software modified, the nature of this process makes the hardware inside of an iPod, iPhone, or iPad susceptible to incompatibilities and unpredictable instabilities, either immediately or at a later date.
Parts Compatibility and Software Updates: While we are certain that our parts will work with your device, the very nature of any past, current, or future software/firmware update could result in hardware incompatibilities and/or unpredictable instabilities, either immediately or at a later date. We cannot be held responsible for any loss of functionality if such a situation occurs, nor are we obligated to replace our part with a new one, even if the root cause of the issue is directly related to our parts.
Devices that Do Not Power On, Have a Passcode and/or Broken Parts: If a device arrives and we are not able to power it on, the device has a Passcode set and we are not provided with the code, and/or the device has a severely scuffed faceplate, broken screen and/or LCD that does not power on or displays all-white, all-black, or distortion, our technicians will be unable to complete several tests on your device right after it is removed from your packaging. These tests are useful because they allow us to identify issues with your device beyond just the obvious external damage. This scenario may potentially put us in a position where a customer can claim that a function (e.g. Wi-Fi, etc.) was working when they sent a device to us but, when we receive the device and replace the faceplate, screen, and/or LCD, we find additional defects. It is for this reason that we cannot be held responsible for any claims of lost functionality on devices that cannot be properly tested upon receipt.
Loss of Data: We are in no way responsible for the loss of any music, videos, pictures, text messages, notes, contacts, calendars, settings, or any other data on your device, as well as the value of said data, before, during, or after its’ arrival at our facility. This applies to devices in our control (e.g. in for repair or evaluation) or those that are not in our control (e.g. being shipped from you to us, or back from us to you). We strongly suggest that you backup your data before bringing your device to us.
Removal of Covers/Cases and Screen Protectors: In some situations, we have to remove the screen protector, wraps, covers, cases, etc. from your device in order to safely open it and/or complete a repair. Removing these protective covers from your device can render them unusable, and we are therefore not liable for any damage to these items and will not replace them at our expense. Thanks for your understanding that we do not do this out of spite but simply out of necessity to safely work with your device.
Sales Tax: Unless you are exempt, sales tax will be charged on all orders.
Serial Numbers: When we replace logic boards and/or backplates, the serial numbers of the two components will no longer match. The serial numbers may also no longer match the serial number of the device recorded in your instance of iTunes.
Credit Cards: We accept all major credit cards. We will consider and investigate the validity of any and all charge-back requests that we receive from a customers’ credit card company.
Unresolved Disputes: We try to work with every customer in a professional and equitable manner to resolve any disputes or misunderstandings.
Third Parties: No warranty will be given if the device looks like it has been worked on before. Moreover, the warranty will be rendered invalid if the device has been opened or serviced by anyone other than an Appcessories Electronics technician.
Notice: Appcessories Electronics may deliver notice to you by means of a telephone call, an email, a general notice through the site, or by any other reliable method to the address you have provided to Appcessories Electronics.
Terms and Conditions
Please note that by using or accessing the services, the customer (“You”) agree to become bound by the Terms of Service Policy, which are incorporated by reference. These Terms of Service apply to All Customers, including contributors of content, information and other materials or services.
If you do not unconditionally agree to all terms and conditions, you do not have any right to use the services. Acceptance is expressly conditioned upon your consent to all the terms and conditions of this agreement your continued use of services shall be deemed acceptance of the terms of services.
Acknowledgment: The service is owned and operated by Appcessories Electronics. Our service is offered subject to acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein (Terms of Service) and all other operating rules, policies and procedures that may be published from time to time at our locations and website. Appcessories Electronics may, at our sole discretion, refuse to offer the Service to any person or entity and change its eligibility criteria at any time. Appcessories Electronics reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace any Terms of Service at any time, by posting the modified Terms of Service, other policies or guidelines at our locations or on our website. It is your responsibility to check the Terms of Service periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to the Terms of Service constitutes as your acceptance of those changes and your agreement to abide and be bound by the Terms of Service, as amended.
Service Limitations: Appcessories Electronics reserves the right to refrain from providing any or all requested services and instead refund your payment, wholly or in part, on the basis of your technical needs other requirements are unusual or extensive and beyond the scope of this service agreement as reasonably determined by Appcessories Electronics. If Appcessories Electronics’ ability to render services is impaired by YOU or circumstances beyond the control of Appcessories Electronics, Appcessories Electronics may choose not to provide or to discontinue services. To the extent permitted by law, you agree that Appcessories Electronics total liability for damages related to its services is limited to the total amount you pay for the repair and you release Appcessories Electronics from liability for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Appcessories Electronics is not liable for loss, alteration or corruption of any data or for your inability to use your equipment or other products.
Responsibility: In no event shall Appcessories Electronics be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit or opportunity. Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy is stated in the manufacturer’s or publisher’s end user warranty accompanying the product. In no event shall Appcessories Electronics liability exceed the repair, replacement or cost of the specific product purchased from Appcessories Electronics. The parties agree that the limitations in this section are integral to this order.
Rules and Conduct:
As a condition of Service, you promise not to use the Service for any purpose that is prohibited by the Terms of Service. The service is provided for your own personal use. For purposes of the Terms of Service, “content” includes, without any limitation, any video, audio, information, data, text, software, images, photographs, scripts, graphics, logos, interactive features and other works of authorship in any form, medium or technology now known or later developed, which is generated, provided, or otherwise made accessible by Appcessories Electronics on or through the Service. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you shall not (or permit others to) either (a) take any action or (b) upload, download, post, submit or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content using any communications service or other service available on or through the Service, that:
infringes any patent, trademark, service mark, trade secret, copyright, right of privacy or publicity or other right of any other person or entity;
includes video or a photograph of another person or an identifiable location that you have posted without that person’s or the owner of such location’s consent;
is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another’s privacy, tortious, obscene, offensive, sexually explicit or profane, depicts nudity, unlawful activities, death or violence, or encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense;
constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk email (“spamming”);
involves commercial activities and/or sales without Appcessories Electronics’ prior written consent such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising, or pyramid schemes;
displays an advertisement, or accepts payment or anything of value from a third person in exchange for your performing any activity on or through the Service on behalf of that person, such as posting commercial content, or posting blogs or bulletins with a commercial purpose
contains software viruses or any other computer codes, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, limit or interfere with the proper function of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any system, data or other information of Appcessories Electronics or any third party; or
impersonates any person or entity, including any employee or representative of Appcessories Electronics.
Additionally, you shall not:
take any action that imposes or may impose (as determined by Appcessories Electronics in its sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionately small strain on Appcessories Electronics’ infrastructure;
interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Service or any activities conducted on the Service; or
bypass any measures Appcessories Electronics may use to prevent or restrict access to the Service (or other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Service).
You shall abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations.
Opening up your device may void or limit the scope of Apple’s warranty that you may or may not have.
